you have to take care of certain things  to avoid losing your swiscoin.

Swiscoin wallet works with two key:-

1) Public :- A Swiscoin address, or Public key, is an identifier of 26-35 alphanumeric characters, beginning with the alphabet S, that represents a possible destination for a swiscoin payment. Addresses can be generated at no cost by any user of swiscoin. For example, using Swiscoin wallet, one can click “New Address” and be assigned an address.

2) Private:- A private key in the context of swiscoin is a secret number that allows swiscoins to be spent. Every swiscoin wallet contains one or more private keys, which are saved in the wallet file. The private keys are mathematically related to all swiscoin addresses generated for the wallet.

Because the private key is the “ticket” that allows someone to spend swiscoins, it is important that these are kept secure. Private keys can be kept on computer files, but in some cases are also short enough that they can be printed on paper.
